Tips and Tricks for Improving Your Tetris Game

As you may have guessed, your Seattle mover here is a huge Tetris fan. And it makes perfect sense! The similarities between Tetris and moving strategies couldn’t be more obvious. With all the packing and loading into moving trucks and storage units, Tetris is the perfect pastime for maintaining ideal professional mover mentality. Think about it; to ensure that all of your household items fit in one moving truck much smaller than your house, strategic maneuvering of your furniture and other belongings is necessary, just like playing Tetris! When moving people on a busy summer weekend, time seems to speed up and your Seattle movers have to act fast, just like playing Tetris as you reach higher levels! There are so many similarities between moving and Tetris that it is no wonder that so many of your Seattle moving crew members are avid players. Moving may be similar to Tetris, but it is nowhere near as fun! If it were, nobody would hire professional movers. With all the stress that is often coupled with planning a move, Tetris may be a great way to relieve some tension and have a little fun! your Tetris/relocation service expert would like to offer a few great tips for anybody wanting to significantly improve his or her Tetris game.

One of the most important Tetris strategies for any player is to have a space for every possible piece at all times. Tetris pieces, called Tetrominoes, are generated at random, so it is hard to know which shape is going to drop next; and you can’t always count on a straight Tetronimo to save the day. With no space available for a particular piece, your Tetronimoes can quickly stack up causing an end to your game play. So have a space for all Tetronimoes at all times, and you’ll be in good shape –no pun intended!

There is more to playing Tetris than just clearing horizontal lines of Tetronimo blocks. Any Tetris enthusiast knows that strategies for high scores are important. For example, clearing four lines at once with a straight Tetromino (a move called “Tetris”) scores more points than clearing four lines individually. If you plan for those high-scoring moves rather than just clearing lines your Tetris game will definitely improve. Also, accelerating a Tetronimo’s speed down into the well (area where Tetris pieces fall) increases your points as well, so do back-to-back combos (such as a four-line Tetris.)

The best tip that your Seattle mover can give you for dramatically improving your Tetris game has arrived. Arguably the most valuable move you can do in a game, even more valuable than a Tetris, is known as the “T-Spin”, and it can be very confusing at first. The T-Spin is a move which can be done only with a T-shaped Tetronimo. The technique is to maneuver the T-Tetronimo into a tight space, a space so tight that it seems an impossible fit for the T. The move is almost impossible to describe without a visual aid, but once you see for yourself how to do it you’ll be playing some of the best Tetris of your life! The T-Spin should be an eye-opener for any Tetris enthusiasts. The move shows you that Tetronimoes are capable of much more than meets the eye, which is knowledge that can and will get you out of tricky situations that would render most players helpless. Use this knowledge to your advantage!

Tetris can be very addicting! A fun Tetris break from planning your move can be a great way to relieve moving stress, but don’t get off task for too long! Once you’re moved in and stress free, you’ll have all the time in the world to improve your Tetris game to perfection! Good luck on your game-play, and of course on your move!
