They also have a three acre lake, multiple picnic areas, hiking trails, three soccer fields, five playgrounds, four tennis courts, a historical museum, a railroad caboose and a community garden. Peeper Ranch. While a horse ranch may sound hot during the summer, you will not have to worry about that at Peeper Ranch in Lenexa. Sitting on more than 600 acres, this ranch has over 50,000 square feet of indoor riding areas. Peeper Ranch is the largest equestrian ranch in the Kansas City area. Sign your kids up for horseback riding lessons and they will undoubtedly have the best summer of their life!
